In an effort to support and enhance public universities’ use of data for strategic planning and decision-making, APLU and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) are pleased to announce the launch of the new Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA). Designed by institutions for institutions, the VSA provides a robust, interactive, and user-friendly platform to compare and analyze key performance metrics across colleges and universities.
To help tackle the nation’s opioid crisis, APLU’s Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) established an Extension Opioid Crisis Response Committee charged with developing a nationwide strategic framework with steps land-grant universities can take to address the opioid addiction in their communities.
Register now for the 2018 HBCU Summit in Miami, FL held June 27-29, 2018. The summit will bring together HBCU senior-level administrators, faculty, and staff to learn about best practices and develop strategies for historically black institutions to improve student success.
The application period for APLU’s Degree Completion Award is now open, with applications due July 1. APLU institutions are strongly encouraged to apply for the award after reviewing the application and guidelines.
